Dr. Karp
Jeffrey Karp, Psy.D.
After earning my Doctorate in Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 2012, I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Rappahannock Area Community Services Board in Fredericksburg, VA, and post-doctoral fellowship at an inpatient hospital for children and adolescents in Richmond, Virginia in 2013. I have had the opportunity to work at a wide range of mental health organizations including public and alternative schools, residential facilities, and outpatient mental health clinics focusing on treating children, adolescents, adults, and their families. From those experiences, I have learned the importance of approaching therapy systemically and collaboratively. I look forward to helping my patients feel empowered in and out of sessions.
